Glenclair Soil Carbon
Improve soil organic carbon across 600 hectares from a baseline of 1.3–1.4% SOC through pasture restoration and grazing management.
Field measurements have been taken. This data is directly observed, not estimated.
About This Project
A soil carbon project targeting 600 hectares of Glenclair's cleared grazing land. The low starting SOC (1.3–1.4%) is characteristic of 45 years of low-input management — the same history that creates exceptional upside. Pasture improvement, rotational grazing, and organic amendments (lime, gypsum, biochar) are being designed to build carbon into the soil. The project uses the IFLM (Integrated Farm Land Management) methodology pending CER approval.
